Tim Cork

Tim’s career spans 25 years in the hi-tech, commercial real estate and communications industries where he held progressively senior positions both nationally and internationally with companies like Xerox, Regus, SkyDome ,TCS Telecom and NEXCareer. He has extensive expertise in major sales initiatives, strategic alliances, people, and change. He has over 45,000 hours in leadership roles and has coached 1000’s at all levels.

Tim is currently the President of Straight A’s Inc., an International provider of Leadership Development, Coaching and Sales Training. He is a sought after speaker and has been published in numerous magazines and papers. Known as “The Networking Guru” by The Globe and Mail and Breakfast Television and “The Career Guru” by the Toronto Sun and Star, he educates, entertains and shares his wisdom with thousands every year.

Tim lives in Toronto with his wife and two children. He uses his name as an acronym for his purpose in life which is to Touch, Inspire and Move people to act on their passions and goals.  His bestselling book, “Tapping the Iceberg” focuses on getting Straight A’s (Attitude, Aptitude, & Action) in life through unleashing your possibilities. His new book will be out in the fall of 2011. Tim is on many boards and is President of  the Toronto Chapter of the HRPA (Human Resources Professional Association) which has over 6,300 members.



Sylvie Bacon
Director, Eastern Canada – Executive Coach

Sylvie is a seasoned human resources executive with over 20 years of significant experience in national and global consulting firms.

Her areas of expertise include multidisciplinary and multisite team management, executive coaching, business development, performance management, organizational development and process improvement.

Her approach aims to ensure an optimal use of human capital by promoting personal and professional of individuals, while providing increased effectiveness and efficiency of organizations.

During the course of her career, she led numerous feedback and coaching sessions to hundreds of individuals to leverage their strengths and interests and empower them in their professional development and positioning.

An energetic and passionate deliverer, she developed and facilitated roundtables gathering HR leaders from various organizations to analyse HR emerging needs and trends as well as numerous workshops and focus groups on change management, career decision and climate studies,

An excellent communicator in both English and French with demonstrated ability to identify corporate needs and influence key decision makers.

She holds a bachelor degree in industrial psychology and an MBA schooling and is also a member of CHRP and ICF



Nancy Rochester
Leadership Coach and Assessment Specialist

Nancy Rochester is a seasoned human resources professional who has held senior positions in entrepreneurial and corporate organizations. As Director of Corporate Human Resources at both Ontario Power Generation and Ontario Hydro, Nancy engaged in the provision of strategic and operational support to Corporate Business Units, including Finance, Supply Chain, CIO and Operations. In this capacity, Nancy managed administrative and payroll services for corporate functions supporting over 1,700 employees and 8,500 pensioners.

Nancy’s background in human resources spans a variety of functions, including Employee Health and Safety, Job Evaluation, Labour Relations, Compensation, Organizational Design and Executive Development.

As well as having achieved the CHRP designation, Nancy is also certified in MBTI, 360 coaching, organizational leadership and development and advanced mediation.



Mark McKoy
Fitness Consultant and Coach

Marks' international athletic career has span almost 2 decades. culminating in an Olympic Gold Medal (first canadian track & field gold medal in 60 yrs.), in Barcelona, Spain in 1992.

Mark has extensive experience in creating the world’s best fitness and athletic training programs. He is also a recognized expert in empowering and training others in how to have a mindset of champion and apply it to get breakthrough results everywhere in life, including in health & fitness, and in building winning teams and support structures. He is the world’s foremost motivator and educator of trainers in the top health & fitness methodologies. His leading skills are as a leader, doer, innovator, communicator, coach, trainer, tactician, motivator, change agent, and fitness guru.

Mark has been in the health and fitness industry for almost 40 years. Developing programs for himself and others as a teenager, he has continued (and continues) to develop and implement programs for a range of individuals from novice to professional.

Currently Mark lives in Toronto with his wife and 3 children. CEO & President of Gold Medal Enterprises. Specializing in training, fitness, diet and nutrition counselling, seminars and programs for athletes, health fanatics and executives of all ages and fitness levels.



Ritu Bhasin
Leadership Coach and Diversity Specialist

Ritu Bhasin, LL.B. MBA, is a Diversity Specialist and Leadership Coach who provides strategies to organizations on people management and organizational leadership, with an emphasis on diversity and the advancement of women.

Ritu regularly presents, facilitates, and provides input to various North American professional associations, educational institutions, and not-profit organizations.  She also acts as a career coach, and has assisted and empowered hundreds of individuals to leverage their strengths and interests in their professional development.

Previously, during ten years in the legal profession, Ritu practised law and then joined the senior management team of a pre-eminent Canadian business law firm, focusing on talent management and diversity strategies for lawyers and law students. 

Ritu has been actively committed to public service for more than 15 years,  volunteering in the community on a range of initiatives.  She is currently a member of the Women's Equity Advisory Group at the Law Society of Upper Canada, and a member of the Rotman School of Management’s Values Initiatives Working Group.  She served on the Law Society's Equity Advisory Group for seven years, including two years as its Vice-Chair. Additionally, Ritu served on the North American Board of Directors for NALP (The Association for Legal Professionals), and on the Board of Directors for the YWCA Toronto. 



Phil Marinucci
Marketing, Technology and Multimedia Consultant

Phil Marinucci, BA, worked 22 years with Xerox Corporation in a diverse role covering Inside Sales customer marketing, Internet marketing technologies, multimedia development, film production, music composition, systems administration and more. One of Phil's key contributions to Xerox's online marketing efforts was the concept, creation and development of the Virtual Demo, an online tool allowing sales to demonstrate products over the Internet. That project was taken one step further with creation of a full User Interface Simulator.

With the ability to interface with analytical, managerial and creative teams, Phil's understanding of these three areas puts him in a unique position to bridge these typically divergent groups into one cohesive team. Phil is also Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.

As a seasoned Marketing and Multimedia Developer with 30+ years of experience, Phil now offers his services as a consultant for numerous organizations around the world.



Marion Tripp
Project and Events Specialist

Marion Tripp is an expert in administrative, technical support and online business services. She has worked with small business, corporate organizations and professional associations over the last several years.

Marion previously held managerial sales and marketing positions in the product and services industries. As Project Manager in Ontario for Ohio-based Powersink Technologies, she coordinated and directed Canadian management teams, supervised outsourcing projects and recruitment and coordinated product launches. Marion is a champion of social media as a powerful, productive and low-cost marketing tool and evaluation system.

She will support Straight A’s Inc.’s clients on project management, events, training programs and coaching.



Victor Crowl
Coach, Audio/Video Specialist

Victor Crowl is a specialist in audio and visual. He is a coach, mentor, choreographer, motivational speaker, filmmaker, music producer, and singer-songwriter. He created Smile Music & Film Productions, Ltd. as a promotional and production-driven vehicle for himself, and many other emerging artists.

Over the last twenty years, Victor has cultivated a creative environment to develop his film, music, and writing projects. His music is synchronized to television programs and films in syndication throughout the world, viewed by millions. From 2007 to 2011, Victor toured Ethiopia, Jamaica, Central America, and the US, gathering footage for several music videos and filming his documentary, "Inspirations, Vol. 4: The Victor Crowl Music Story."

In 2009, he started work on his sixth album, also titled "Inspirations" and featuring some of Canada's best musicians. The album highlights Victor's unique voice and his many musical styles. Both the album and the documentary will be out in late 2011.
